Wine & Beer!

Bias was one of over 15 wineries we visited in our weekend in the area. The tastings were complimentary and the beer samples were $1.25 for 4 ounces. We tried the wines and... read more

My husband brews beer as a hobby and we both enjoy wine. We prefer dry & semi-dry wines. This place labeled wines as dry that were syrupy sweet. They offer 3 free samples per person & $1/taste after that. We opted to just try the 3 free ones since all were terrible. We figured maybe the beer was good since... More

We visited seven wineries as part of Hermann's Holiday Wine Trail. Out of the seven, this was by far our favorite. First of all, they had the best holiday-themed wine trail pairing that included a warm apple-cider wine and a turkey tetrazzini that tasted like Thanksgiving in a dish. Both were wonderful on their own and most importantly they went... More

Bias was one of over 15 wineries we visited in our weekend in the area. The tastings were complimentary and the beer samples were $1.25 for 4 ounces. We tried the wines and decided to get all of the beer samples available. We were ready for a change from wine so this was nice. We sat outside at a picnic... More

The offer a tasting of 3 for free or all of their wine for $4, many of their wines were too sweet but we agreed on a bottle to pair with our picnic lunch and sat outside and ate.

It's a bit out of the way but a nice visit. I actually liked the beer better than the wine. Wine tasting is complimentary, beer tasting is 1.25 for 4 oz that seemed like less to me. Good experience though.

If you buy their groupon, print it out with all the details...don't count on being able to access with your phone as we had no phone service. i had the groupon but not the details...we got our free tastings but we didn't not get a free glass of wine of our choice...we also didn't realize our groupon included tasting the... First con: this winery is pretty far outside of Hermann, where we stayed. We actually thought we were lost at one point... Second major con: wine was HORRIBLE. The first one was very close to vinegar, in my opinion. Third con: doesn't really feel like a winery. That may be too shallow of me, but compared to the other wineries... More

This winery was one of 7 wineries to try on the chocolate wine trial we did. This was my least favorite. It's quiet a ways from town. We joked about it being a trailer. Well...that's what it ended up looking like. The overall appearance wasn't inviting. We go in for the wine pairing and pass by what I assume is... More

A bit of a drive off the path (10 minutes?). Beautiful farm area. The beer was only ok but 4 oz tastings for 1.25 was pretty good.

My husband and I went with several other couples and it was horrible. It was about 45 degrees outside and it was warmer outside than in the winery. The wine was not good. There was a bad smell (stagnant smoke, dead mouse.....I'm not sure). Would not recommend, especially with so many other nice wineries around.
