A river runs near it

If you need a break from gambling, trot down the road a piece to the river park. Set along the banks of the Mississippi River, I found a great diversion in the museum. $10 will... read more

The cruise down the river was splendid. The food was absolutely amazing. Great entertainment. Did I mention the drinks? The margarita was one of the best I've ever had. Had a fantastic time. Looking forward to the next one.

There is not much to do at this park, we visited the main facility and looked at the museum. The river boat cruise is closed permanently and on Sunday the park was closed.

This park is about 250 yards before the entrance to Fritz Casino... It has a very interesting entrance and you will find yourself glad you took this trip. It is a raw delta swampy habitat that winds back to the Mississippi River's edge. The Road is very nice and the Museum is also. There are several floors of exhibits that... More

When Jim and I go on getaways we always try to learn more about the history. Today we spent about 2 hours at Tunica RiverPark fantastic! Beautiful views of the Mississippi river. So many wonderful treasures are presented with the history of the area. The third floor observation area gives a fantastic view of the river. Would recommend spending time... More

If you need a break from gambling, trot down the road a piece to the river park. Set along the banks of the Mississippi River, I found a great diversion in the museum. $10 will transport you back in time to the ice age when the river was first cut out of the land, and bring you right up to... Was not happy with our visit here. From what info I got on their website I was really looking forward to something really great. I didn't find it here. The best part of going was seeing signs along the drive to the park that said "If flooded turn around don't drown"....

We visited during a flood but it was't quite shut down (yet) so we got to walk around the building (but the trails were not accessible). Just love the rocking chairs on the veranda... Peaceful, beautiful views...

We went to Tunica Riverpark specifically for a river boat cruise on their advertised "Tunica Queen luxury ship." It says on their web site that tickets are available for rides in April every Friday 2:30PM. We drove over an hour while on vacation from Pennsylvania and were told upon arrival that "we haven't had the river boat rides for a... More

This park is a great location to view and experience the lower Mississippi River. It includes a walkway and paths as well as a museum about the river. It appears however that few know about this park which is located close to the Tunica casinos. The museum building is quite modern and the grounds beautiful. There was a chill in... More
