It's quiet, there's hills, wineries and the beach. It's a beautiful part of the world and a very well kept secret.

As well as a very long sandy beach it's well worth finding the time to explore the Aldinga Scrub Conservation Park, visit an hour before sunset for best chance to see kangaroos up close. There is a wonderful B&B surround by the conservation park and adjacent to the car-free Silver Sands section of the beach, operated through airbnb, search for... More

My husband and I decided to go for a Sunday drive to Aldinga. We both really love Aldinga Beach not so much for swimming but for the amazing picturesque views. You have the hillsides and the seaside all in one. We bought lunch at the local bakery and sat on one of the numerous picnic tables you find along the... More

This is one of the few beaches in SA a regular sedan can drive onto. A nice place to go and spend a few hours on a sunny day; clean water, safe swimming beach and lots of space to play.

Walked along from Willunga and what a fine beach with lovely azure water. One skate seen. Little waves but it was certainly warm

Love, love, love, my morning walks with my Labrador along this beach.... The only time it gets busy is New Years Day and Australia Day (avoid them if you want to keep your sanity!) And you can drive your car along it.... Just obey the 10km Speed limit or us locals get cranky!

One of the States few beaches where you can drive your car down which makes for easy handling of beach equipment, chairs etc. Beach has a dog off leash area and boat launching. Reef section at Northern end, ideal for reef walking at low tide. Clean and wide when tide out. Entry charge of $6 during summer holiday season.

You can drive onto the beach take a picnic or bbq and sit while you watch the waves lap in. Swimming is great.
