This country estate has been lovingly restored. The grounds are beautiful and the house tour tells interesting history. The site can be reeached by public transport or, with difficulty by ferry.

Remarkable that it survived really. Delightful grounds to picnic in. Nice staff. The house itself is nicely preserved and a real step back in time. Make you sure you don't miss the Wentworth Mausoleum a few streets over.

Best to catch bus number 325 from the city. The nearest ferry stop is Watsons Bay, but that is a 30 minute walk away.

Hi Margaret, the tours are run by volunteers so unsure of the time. Best to go to their website and contact them directly. You have to pay an entry fee.
