I shall remember my first visit to this amazing art deco 1940s cinema run by volunteers. It is simply wonderful to go to a real single screen cinema with a proper dress circle. Keep up the fantastic work to preserve this beautiful icon.

Gorgeous old theatre, held together by a team of amazing volunteers. Great for the Friday 13th Rocky Horror dress up nights. Great for fundraisers and anytime for a movie. Gorgeous old theatre. Something so worth saving and visiting 💜

Beat expensive movie prices by heading to the Capri. Family discounts a bonus! Even the candy bar is more reasonably priced. The organ being played before a movie is fun and transports you back to another time and place. Original seating and Art Deco decor...More

come to the theatre to attend Baff mountain film festival, surprised to find the bonus performance - a gentleman played ‘Wurlitzer’ Organ before the film started. It was 5 years since my last visit, glad to see the theatre organ still keep her glory. All...More

We come to the Capri Theatre every school holidays with the children on their special priced movie deals. The value is exceptional - but we would go even if we had to pay more. The charm of the place is like no other theatre......art deco...More

This is my favourite cinema in Adelaide as there is a combination of nostalgia (so many beautiful art deco features) and the wonderful Wurlitzer theatre organ. Currently at the time of this review they play the Wurlitzer for 15 minutes prior to the scheduled film...More

This is a great theatre with a wide range of up-to-date movies. Gives support to charities for fund raising. Know when you support the Capri you are supporting the Organ Society too - and the organ recitals are an added bonus to the pre-movie entertainment.
