- Steven BBelleville, Illinois4 contributionsNice beach getawayWe really enjoyed Ocean Springs. They have a nice little beach that's great for wading and enjoying the sunset. The downtown had some nice restaurants and bars. I enjoyed the area, including Biloxi and Bozos Seafood in Pascagoula.Visited September 2023Traveled with familyWritten October 4, 2023

- Eli B5 contributionsNice BeachIf your looking for somewhere to relax go here. There is a nearby playground for kids if they wanna play. There are also multiple peers and a concrete sea wall. Do not recommend going in water though. Can also be a lot of trash at times.Visited July 2024Traveled with familyWritten July 11, 2024

This beach is near our rental and dog friendly so we thought we’d check it out. There is free parking along the beach which is a bonus. The water was nice and warm although quite brown. There was quite a bit of trash and dead fish. Make sure you bring your own doggy bags because none are supplied at the doggy stations. Sprinklers are available for free
to wash off. Great option for dogs but not for families.

Beautiful for sunset, however we took many glass bottle pieces out the water where my toddlers were running. They allow pets on the beach which also wasnt that great as poop was on the sand and some came out the water. Water is a little yucky, but sand ia soft and wasnt too busy.

A great place to enjoy the Mississippi sound with our dog. This is a clean place and well managed. Work is going on to repair the storm damage to the pier and it looks as though it will be open soon.

This beach is one of the best kept secrets along the coast. Quiet, clean, family oriented. Good parking and patrolled by law enforcement too. I gave it a 4star only because it is off the beaten path, but that is good. Once you do find it, you’ll be back!

I recently stayed over in Biloxi but took a ride over to Ocean Springs to view the town. I dorve up and down the Front Beach twice. I loved the area. I will definitely visit here the next time I'm on the Gulf.

This little town is like going back in time when life was slower and people went to the beach and felt safe! The Front Beach was so relaxing, and great place for families and fishing off the pier.

This is just a great place to sit and watch the sun go down. Parking is right next to where you can sit. Very safe. Kid and dog friendly. Oceans Springs gets five thumbs up for this area.

Where exactly is front beach. We are coming end of June to a gambling trio but wanted to take a day on the beach. Ocean springs has the national seashore, but I have hesard that is in Pensacola? Fl?
Written June 1, 2017
The first answer is the Park is here in Ocean Springs, not in Pensacola. It's beautiful! and you will enjoy it. Front beach is the beach located in Ocean Springs. If you are staying in one of the casinos in Biloxi, all you need to do is drive across the Biloxi/Ocean Springs bridge and take a right at the end of the bridge in Ocean Springs. Follow the road to the right and you are there! You will see the Yact Club where the beach starts. It is quiet, it is clean. There are very small outdoor "showers" (just running water) so you don't have to track sand into your car. No charges for parking anywhere along in the beach in Ocean Springs or Biloxi. I hope you have a wonderful time!

Can you swim? Is the water clear or murky? Shallow (too shallow to swim) or deep?
Written April 8, 2017
It is a sand beach. The sand is not sparkling white nor is it dark and coarse. The water gradually becomes deeper as you move out from the beach. You'll see shells and crabs! You will see boats pass and shore birds. My answer to swimming is yes, you can swim but be aware of jellyfish or dangerous currents. The locals will be friendly and helpful. If Front Beach is too small just move west to Biloxi or Gulfport for much larger beaches! Come and enjoy!
