I have been to many events at the Temple Theater. It's a beautiful, comfortable venue. I was last there for the Jamie Johnson concert. I have also attended the Jimmy Rodgers festivities many times over the years.

Hamasa Shrine Temple Theater is a "classic" theater. If you just like visiting historical buildings then come by for a tour. It is a fantastic building to visit, but the best part of Hamasa Theater is that it is still used. I have been to many events in the theater and they have all been great. Plays, musicals, concerts, and movies. Hopefully they will play the pipe organ for you. It is a blast from the past! The seats are comfortable even through they are old. In fact more comfortable then the movie theater in the mall. Food prices are affordable too. Come help Meridian keep this great historical place open. Visit the Theater!!!!…

I and two friends attended a "Thank You" supper held at the theater for volunteers at the Soulé Steam Festival. I had no idea what to expect. That said, I was awestruck. The entire venue is practically unchanged since the 1920's. There are 1,600 seats, an orchestra pit and functioning organ. We were treated to a silent film from 1916, accompanied by live organ music.
