This museum hghlights Meridian's history of "steam-feed" industries. The site is the old Soule Steam Feed Works, and the Miner Edger Works that operated here until the 1990's. Fascinating old steam machines and demonstrations of the steam-manufacturing process that provided many jobs in the city...More

Seems like most of the people going there are going to see each other. Kids seem to like it. It’s downtown. Parking might be iffy.

The Soule Steam Works look like the worker just left for holiday. Knowledgeable tour guide who actually worked on the equipment on display. We will be sure to return for Steam Fest the first weekend in November.

Anyone who has a mechanical interest needs to visit the Soule' Museum. It is almost unbelieveable how machinists in the early 20th century made things. This is the place to see!

Interesting place to visit. It showcases an old steam factory. You should have good shoes when touring. The first weekend in November is an annual festival.

This is an attraction I cannot recommend enough. Please attempt to go during the Soule' Steam Festival though when everything is running. It is truly incredible to see how the machines operated back in the day and still work today. During the festival, the machines...More
