We came out with our 2 oldest children. Barry and Jason were great. They ensured we had the best opportunity for a good catch. It was a blast and we will use them in the future!

Capt. Barry and 9 Ball charters is the way to go. You WILL catch fish and have a great time. If you're in the area and to go fishing, give Barry a call!

Redfish, Blacktip sharks, white trout!!! Captain Barry and Jason mean business when it comes to catching fish! They are diligent students of the sea, the weather, the fish, and are responsible stewards of and advocates for the fishery itself. They are great teachers of the sport.... to the degree of sharing their knowledge of the seasons of change and how the fish move about the area. These sailors know where they are biting! We caught our limit on redfish and black tip sharp before 0900 and cruised inland to finish the day fishing light tackle only to catch a mess of trout and some bait fish. My son had a blast catching the small fish as it was fast action activity. I would also like to add that they were perceptive and caring for my 4 year old son and my 74 year old Dad. They made sure every one was safe and comfortable. Dad doesn't have the sea legs he used to have and they respectfully cared for his safety even when he was reeling in a spunky shark and a stubborn hog of a redfish! My son is restless and curious Captain Barry and Jason both validated his presence with their attention. Jason held a live and freshly caught shark so that he could pet the shark's belly! Captain Barry and Jason know how to have a great time on the water and will treat you like family.

We were lucky enough to select 9-Ball Fishing Charters with Captain Berry and First Mate Jason. Our In-Shore charter was exceptional. 9-Ball had the right boat (23-foot) and right equipment and tackle for our redfish adventure. Capt Berry was very knowledgeable about all aspects of Gulfport/Biloxi fishing locations. We started by catching our bait with light tackle. After catching a bucket full of bait, we proceeded to a spot where we used our live bait to catch some nice size redfish and sea trout. Although it was too early in the season Spring 2020) for the bull redfish (40-inches & larger), the amount of action was fun and lively. My Brother-in-Law and I had so much fun we are planning another trip with 9-Ball in the Fall 2020. If you like action and a hard working, competent charter, 9-Ball is what your want.

Our family enjoyed the trip. These guys are very personable, helpful and overall want your experience to be great. We never touched our bait, hooks or fish. They did it all. My husband was very nervous as every fishing trip in past he has ended up sick and this time he DID NOT GET SICK!!! Absolutely will return for a different season of fishing and fun. Thanks guys!
