I sat with these HS students. We vot a special tour of house and museum. Quite impressive. You could feel her presence in the room. This is a MUST do in Jackson.

I have visited the homes of many writers, and Miss Welty's was one of the most educational. The visitor center next door was just the right size, and I was pleased to find so many intact furnishings in her home. I loved the stacks of...More

The house is furnished much as it was when Eudora Welty lived there and feels as if she might be in the next room. Our tour was with the director who is knowledgable and interesting. She shared many incidents that gave us insight into Welty's...More
