“The people make this place EXCELLENT”
Be wowed by giant stars, glowing planets and distant galaxies all shown on a giant wrap-around screen at this engaging planetarium, one of the largest in the South.

When we walked in there were painting cloths, furniture moved overall a mess. Thought for sure the place was closed , it was not. Since we were the only ones there, the manager let us pick the movie we wanted to see. He was extremely...More

Like other reviewers, I have to say this place is in sore need for updating and it's a crying shame that the city doesn't support this adequately. That said, our Grandkid's Spring Break was different from the local schools and we were the only one's...More

This planetarium is really small, but they make do with what they have, and really offer an exceptional educational experience.

We brought our kids here and they really seemed to enjoy it. I do wish they could update it a little because things seemed a little run down. (Kids didn't mind though.)

I went here for a child's birthday party. The place really needs updating; it kinds of reminds me of a cross between an old movie theater and a bowling alley. I think the kids had a good time and the movie we viewed was the...More

But the film we saw was awful. I wanna go to the planetarium to see stars. I feel like they sold out by trying to be IMAX. However, I will go back in search of seeing things more sky related.
