It was closed when we were there, but worth stopping to read the sign, if nothing else. Use your imagination and the place comes alive. Close to the B.B. King Museum and Church Street.

If you are visiting the B.B. King Museum in Indianola be sure to visit Club Ebony just around the corner. This is one of Mississippi's oldest Juke Joint built in about 1945 and operated continuously since, as the Mississippi Blues marker, in front of the...More

Club Ebony was owned by BB King and from the outside it's rustic and old. It was closed and don't know if they keep regular hours. There are some signs outside that give a brief history of the place. It's not far from the museum...More

Looked like a shack in the middle of nowhere but I had one of the best afternoons in here. Buffet lunch with southern fried chicken and crawfish, it was so good. Homemade lemonade and cookies and a bar and a great Blues singer. One of...More

Whilst on a visit to BB's Museum, I couldn't miss out on a drive round to Club Ebony. Obviously the the place was closed during the day, but it was nice to take walk around soaking up the clubs history.

It's just around the corner from the BB King museum but it's not a very nice looking neighborhood. I guess it's only open once a week now. Interesting piece of blues history.

After leaving the BB King museum I wanted to see Club Ebony which he owned. It's located a couple blocks from the museum. A blues trail sign out front explains the history of the place. I was here on a Friday around 1pm and the...More

Got to hear some great music and learn more about a legendary club. We also got fed catfish and hush poppies and had a Pecan beer! Highly recommend it.

I would like to have been inside, but according to information on its frontpage on Facebook, they only open on Thursdays from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm, which is a sorrow. Outside, the venue looks very nice and is exciting to be in front of...More

You have to contact the King museum as it is part of it. I don't think they are open unless you do it in connection with the museum.
