I have been going to Boka Homa Casino for years now and win some lose some. However, my husband has won a nice size chunk of change a few times with the most being $4500 in one night. The casino itself is very nice, clean and most employees are pleasant to interact with and good about assisting you when needed. After watching my husband manage to walk out of there with money in is pocket I have come to the conclusion, based on how he bets, that you have to bet high to hit at any machine. That especially goes for hitting any jackpots, I’m sure everyone already knows that in most instances in order to claim a jackpot hit you must bet the max and that is exactly what he does on every machine he sits down at. Due to my location I only have two choices within a reasonable distance to visit and they are Boka Homa and Silver Star/Golden Moon Casino’s. In comparison Boka Homa most definitely gets my vote, Silver Star has gone.... D-O-W-N!!!!!!!!

Someone at the hotel I was staying at in Hattiesburg, MS told me about this casino. It is about a 45 minute drive from Hattiesburg straight up a divided interstate. I have been to Bilouxi several times during my visit to Hattiesburg, so I though this new casino would be a nice change. Tha Bok Homa is exactly as it states, "A Casino." It does not have a hotel, nor does it have restaurants. It does have a small sandwich shop for snacks in one corner of the casino. The casino has a good mix of slot machines mixing the old type with the new LED machines. I seen $5, Lots of $1, $0.50, $0.25, $0.05 and of course the penny machines. This casino also has table games Blackjack and craps. I believe two craps tables and eight to ten blackjack. The tables were minimum $15 maximum $300 when I was there. The casino is clean, is not cramped. So you are able to navigate the floor. The casino employees and friendly and helpful. This is a place with a lot of regular patrons and I was tagged as a friendly "outsider" immediately. I spent about three entertaining hours there. Lost a little on the blackjack tables and won a jackpot on the slots. One other thing about this casino that was out of the ordinary. No adult beverages are served here. All the coffee, sodas and tea you want, but no beer or liquor of any kind. I thought gambling and booze went hand in hand. All in all and enjoyable excursion and I will visit it again on my next trip to Hattiesburg.

You can get to this casino off of the 59 at the Sandersville exit. Very prettty and comfortable place to play.
