We planned our one day vacation to fall on a Monday so the park would be less crowded. Our two teens enjoyed our four hour stay, but my son left sunburned. He should have worn more sun protection because there is very little shade in the attractions. We arrived at 10 am, and I stayed under the large umbrellas at... More

Gulf Islands Water Park makes for a perfect family outing. The park is on the smaller side but still very fun. I found the water and pool decks to be clean but slides could use a fresh coat of paint perhaps this winter. Overall the lifeguards appeared very attentive to the swimmers. My only complaint would be the lazy river... More

My 13 yr old and 10 year old had a fantastic time. Lots to do there. Very clean. Lots of great food. They grill their meat like in your backyard. The wave poil is so fun. They also had a Save the Wolf show for free. This park is reasonably priced. You can't take food or coolers inside the park.... More

The staff member who was at the lockers was not very helpful. I did find out from the manager that she was not the normal locker staff member. We had a good time, but the lazy river was not "lazy" as it was over crowded and easy to get separated from those you are floating with.

The park was clean and easy to maneuver. The lines were a little long, but with only 3 actual water slides, it is to be expected. They need more shaded tables. The lazy river was fun but often crowded with un-manned rafts. Food and drink prices were higher than expected. The restrooms were hot, with no air flow. $30.00 per... More

This is a small water park. It only has a few rides. Very family oriented. Lockers available. Concessions on site with a friendly staff

If all things were equal, I'd prefer to head to the beach, hang out in swells, and boogie board or body surf, then cut out for some fish tacos. However, things aren't equal. And it still took me ten years to finally visit this attraction (I've been on the MS coast since '06). The park was smaller than I expected,... More

The kids enjoyed themselves. I would recommend more shades tables. The heat was exhausting. They were all taken when we got there. Also if could add a icee machine to sell that would be awesome but the snow cones were great too. Would also recommend another attraction for the kids. Also I strong smell of urine when in the lazy... More

My kids love this water park. We are local which allows us to go frequently but it can be extremely busy around the first of July. Food can be very expensive though so utilize your coupon book for discounts.

This was a nice park. My only complaint was that this was my 1st time in a water park in years and no one gave out any info. For example, it would have been nice to know that there were lockers to put my belongings in. Also, the asphalt was so hot from the sun, I ended up with blisters... More
