This course combines a challenging layout, beautiful views and a nice club house. Like most coast courses several days of rain can make it very soggy. Very nice staff and service. The greens can be slippery when rolling fast but most times Ive played here they were medium in pace. A neighborhood surrounds the course but the homes aren’t on top of the course and many holes have no homes. A must play when on the Coast. Enjoy…

Played golf on second day for our long weekend golf trip at Windance CC. Staying at the Island View, we played on the cheap for $39/person at roughly 9:30 AM. Check in and the starter was good and the range decent for $4 per bucket to warm up. It was about a 20-25 minute ride from Island View. It is a nicely conditioned course with a wonderful layout and keeping it in the short grass was indeed optimal as the rough would almost guarantee an additional stroke. Only a couple of saves all day from the rough. It was wet so drainage is not optimal and the greens were probably punched ten days prior yet the greens rolled wonderfully. A nice track and definitely recommend if in the Gulfport are or staying at the Island View! Enjoy Windance Country Club!…

I was down visiting a buddy in sourthern Mississippi and we went there based upon recommendations. Had a great time. The course was in fine shape despite it being the very beginning of spring and the greens were fast (and true). The course had a variety of types of holes. I would think it plays well for all levels of players if you are on the right tees. …

The course was in excellent shape and the greens are very challenging with lots of slope on just about every green. We played as a foursome and the pro shop let group after group of twosomes play right behind us so we let 5 groups play through for 18 holes. we were pressured all day. I would play this course again but maybe as a twosome since that is what it seems take at this course.…

Just played Windance for the second time and I am even more impressed then before. The pro shop was just excellent, friendly and efficient. They got me set up and on my way quickly, just perfect. The course has a nice layout, with some houses lining a few holes, but the bulk of the holes are just surrounded by trees. this is a well routed course with only three sets of holes running next to one another, however there are significant hazards and spac between the holes that you would rarely be able to play from one fairway to the other. Landing areas off the tees are good, but there is plenty of challenge. The greens are the best I have ever played on! The maintence was excellent. Almost no ball marks, no dead areas, they were firm and FAST, but they putted true. The price was very reasonable, and maybe the best part? The greens fees are good for all day play! So start early and play late. …
