This is a big expanse of green parkland beside the river, so be prepared for fresh air and walking once you're off the horribly busy roads running through the north-eastern suburbs. You could combine some time in the park with a visit to the Heide...More

This park is huge! Various places where you can park your car & be by yourself. Also features a great dog park. Also a great place to park your car and have a picnic when you check out the Art gallery

Banksia Park is really beautiful, with nice trees and a serene river flows through. Sitting idly on the river bank watching the sun going down is really a nice choice for a sunny weekend.
