This is a really nice park to visit. We didn't fish, but enjoyed looking around. We were able to see a boat go through the lock, and it was fascinating to watch.

This recreation area has a parking lot on the top of a hill from which you can observe barges and other boats going up and down the Tenn-Tom Waterway. It's also a great place to watch a sunset!!!

Large area that seems perfect for family reunions and picnics in general. Wished we could actually see the lock area which was not accessible from the park side. Watched a couple of men fishing below the dam.

Nice place to visit anytime but especially true during times of high water flow. Tennessee - Tombigbee waterway is running with gates releasing maximum flow to keep up with the monsoon. Two river barges pulled away from their moorings and pinned themselves against the spillway - one on top of the other. A great picture not likely to happen again any time soon.

Great place to go have a picnic, play frisbee or teach your kids how to ride a bike. Educational to look at the lock and dam and see the water flow and different levels.

I thought Stennis dam and lock was a great place to visit. You can walk around to stretch your legs and get some fresh air. It's also a great place for kids.
