I went there for a few events, story tellers from Japan and Cuba, and also the Conquistador film and I liked and truly enjoyed it immensely. Who would have thunk the culture that the little town of Columbus would bring in? Staff are really friendly and enjoyed the museum too and even made small contributions. I just know this place will grow by leaps and bounds keep up the good work and bring in your family fill them with our past, present and future..... Truly a surprising find in this little town with character.....

The Columbus Arts council and RAC is a great venue. STop in and participate and view visual and performing arts. The arts council has a great board and staff and always has some unique program. Bluegrass, storytelling, painting decorations and demonstrations and exhibits not to mention wonderful children programs and learning experiences.

We went to a military function event at the arts center. The lady running it was very nice and gave tons of info about the center and different programs they offer. I look forward to taking a class.

Heard Pierce Pettis, July 3, 2014, in this beautiful, small theater. What a lovely venue for an intimate concert! Hope to get back for other events real soon.

I continue to be in awe about Columbus' history and culture. In my brief time there, I was impressed with how much the town has to offer. They could surely be a model for other towns. The Art Council is a perfect example of the strides Columbus has made in bringing culture to northeast Mississippi. Though the space is small, it is packed full of varied and interesting exhibits. There were three displayed while I visited, I only regret that I did not have more time to dedicate to this gem. A must while in Columbus!

The gallery is small but the works on display were interesting. We found some pottery that really caught our eye and purchased a very interesting dish by a local artist.

We have been visiting the Arts Council for nearly 15 years. Our most recent visit was an amazing concert by Paul Thorne.

Our children have attended many summer art camps; our entire family has enjoyed gallery exhibits and openings; and we have attended many special events at to RAC.

If you live in Columbus, please support the Arts Council. If you are visiting, please stop by and see amazing art in our small town!

Columbus is very lucky to have this great art center. They feature a new artist in the gallery monthly. They also offer classes and musical performances.
