This is the best place to go to find out what is going on in Clarksdale and the Delta as far as the Blues goes. Roger can tell you all about all the blues musicians and where to see them. He also sells hard to get cd's and all kind of blues stuff and art. If you are lucky, there... More

Roger should hang a sign outside to advertise as a welcome center. We went there first upon driving into town for a 3-night stay. He was friendly and welcoming, and he filled us in on where to catch live music during a visit. He is a real asset to the community.

Huge music inventory showcasing local Blues greats. Lots of interesting books and high quality souvenirs (t-shirts, local art, jewelry, etc.)

We stopped here after visiting the Delta Blues Museum in Clarksdale. The shop had a great selection of music and eclectic selection of other items connected with the region, its music and its other arts. The owner was really helpful, directing us to live music we could hear in town that evening. Well worth a stop if you are in... More

Quite an interesting place to stop by whilst in centre of Clarksdale. T- shirts, nick-nacks the odd souvenir perhaps. Nothing to go out of your way for in my opinion.

This place has a great vibe. Soaked in the music culture of Clarksdale and yet definitely walks to the beat of its own drum. If in Clarksdale you really need to stop in. FYI, things do close pretty early around Clarksdale, so verify hours or go early if in doubt.

Let's face it, you're in Clarksdale because you love the blues. And Cat Head is a great resource, with a great selection of music, books, and folk art all related to the blues. They also put together a great listing of all the local music going on in the area -- so stop in, see what's up, pick up a... More

Excellent selection of music, books and other materials related to the blues in Mississippi. If Roger Stolle doesn't know it or doesn't have it, it doesn't exist! Like his page on Facebook to get the weekly 'around town' listings of live music.
