Went there during a festival. Ed stole was there and his book about the Blues was fantastic! There was also music outside that we enjoyed!

When you arrive in Clarksdale, do yourself a favour and visit Roger at Cat Head first. Roger is a lovely man who is so knowledgeable about the blues, is keen to keep the blues alive especially for the next generation. Not only is the shop full of blues music, memorbillia, art etc, but Roger can steer you in the right... More

Everything you need to know about the blues, whether you want to read about it or listen to it, this is the place to go - always buy something on every trip to take home to remind me of how special Clarksdale is to the blues. Some amazing performances at the front door stage during the Juke Joint Festival.

He is the one to talk to about the blues scene here, he knows it all, and organizes most of it.. When you have questions, he's the one with the answers. His shop carries T-shirts, albums,... More

Was just curious about the store, saw a few pamphlets with it on them so I figured I'd go check it out. Immediately greeted as I walked in. We talked a few minutes and he gave us some ideas about where to go for live music. The store had all sorts of Blues related books, cds and collectable items. I... More
