An absolute juke joint that you have to experience. The decor is fantastic in red lights with birthday banners & Christmas garland left over for many years.

This is a tiny juke joint in Clarksdale (maybe seating 20 people around a small stage/dance floor). The night we were there Big A and the Allstars were playing. They were great! The show doesn't really start on time, but no worries, everyone had a...More

You have to stop at Red's if you are in Clarksdale. One of the best blues places left in town. Great music, great people. There is a small cover fee, but it's worth it!

We were recommended not to miss Red's while in Clarksdale and pleased that we took the advice. Checked out the location in the afternoon and had a chat with the man. By the time we went back in the evening it was pretty full. Can't...More

Authentic juke joint. Not much to look at from the outside, but venture in if you're in town for great music. There is a cover charge ($7 the night we were there), but no drink minimum. All ages are welcome and be prepared to get...More

All the locals said this was the real deal in blues clubs. Definitely run down but authentic delta blues.

This place is the real deal. If you want a real juke experience, just go here. Ask no more questions. You found it. Reds food is great too, if he is cooking.

I spent my birthday here this year and it was wonderful. A very small intimate venue, very basic but who cares when the blues is so good!!

We visited Red's about five years ago and were hoping it would be just as great - we weren't disappointed. Don't let appearances put you off, everyone is super friendly and the music was incredible. I think if you only make it to one blues...More

We were fortunate to stay in Clarksdale on a Wednesday night when Red's had live blues music. Red's is authentic old style serving a small selection of beers. We saw 'Big A' who was amazing!!! Do yourself a favour, and pay Red's a visit!!!

I do not know. You need to call and ask them, as things tend to change.

Probably depends on the teenager. It is a little rough around the edges, but I would have taken mine when they were in their teens.

Not sure if Red's is open on Wednesday night. I was thinking they were a weekend only place. I would check the Cathead website. I think they have the Clarksdale schedules. There will be something open. You could even call... More
