You can just feel the blues oozing from the walls of this place. It is where the blues are meant to be played. You never know who will stop by to see Red himself behind the bar. I only wish we had spent more time...More

As an international visitor, it is such a long way to go but once here, the effort is worth it; so real, so authentic, nothing like it anywhere. The music feels so much better in such an atmosphere.

We loved the music, the band and singer were fabulous. We stayed about 2 hours listening to the music, small cover charge but no pressure to buy a drink or anything. Very intimate venue, didn't want to leave.

Listening to authentic blues in the cradle of its birthplace? Yes, please! In one of the few "Juke Joints" left in the nation, you'll find authenticity that forces your foot to tap. Red's has no sign on the door and looks like a cold abandoned...More
