Biloxi's original historical and sightseeing tour debuted in 1961 and 52 years later still departs from the Biloxi Lighthouse Park (Highway 90 at Porter Avenue, Biloxi, MS 39530). The "Biloxi Tour Train," also known to the locals as the "Biloxi Shrimp Train," is owned and operated by native Biloxians. 2013 marks Carla Beaugez Taconi and her husband August's 20th year sharing Biloxi's heritage, history and hospitality with visitors to this beloved city. If you're interested in an authentic and original journey while in Biloxi then this is the tour for you. "For centuries the World has come to Biloxi and I invite you to as well!"...Carla

The tour is about an hour and your presenter offers you a look at the City beyond just a town with several casinos. I really don't want to mention the specifics because I don't want to spoil the experience. The only thing I can tell...More

Ms. Carla is the sweetest lady EVER! My family was visiting from Louisiana and I wanted to do something with my kids that they would remember besides the beach. She gave everyone cold bottled water to keep us hydrated and gave us a brief history...More

Great local tour, well worth the ticket price. Get to know the area from a lifelong resident. Do not expect lavish tours of mansions in museums, it is enjoyable Quick lesson in the history of the area , Especially the results of Katrina

We have taken many tours in various towns and cities but no one can compete with Carla. This was by far the best tour. It is personal and I guarantee you will come away with a profound appreciation for this Southern City.
