I live near by, so one day just drove through to look at the head stones, names, flowers, etc. I was looking for angels and found a few. First time I've driven through a cemetery other than for a funeral. It was uplifting. I couldn't believe the old dates on some of the markers. Wow!

This is one of the oldest cemeteries in Biloxi. The tombs are old and many survived Katrina hurricane. Would love to see some city money granted to those plots in need of repair.

If you love walking around old cemeteries, you will love this one. So much history is here, you can even find the creator of Barq's root beer buried here. This cemetery is located right off of the beach so you get the cool breezes as you walk the cemetery. If you can attend one of the cemetery tours near Halloween... More

Lots of interesting old stones, monuments and mausoleums dating back to the 1800's. Well maintained. Pretty oak trees with spanish moss. Worth a walk through, not quite as large or unique as the ones in NOLA.

We drove there from our room. The cemetery is quite old and is easy to walk through or drive . Some headstones dating back to the 1800's. It was fascinating to see how all or most of the tombstones were very large and decorative.

I recently went to this cemetery to view some old family graves. It is open to the public year round. On weekdays, the city's cemetery maintenance crew works to keep the grass mowed and the grounds cleaned. There are over 20,000 burial plots in this cemetery. I estimate this cemetery covers in excess of 100 acres. The cemetery records are... More

I really still was in pretty good shape for some of these really old old old gravestones and mausoleum type structures. I think there was a lot of damage from the Hurricanes and some of them were some new burials there as well from that storm.

This is a beautiful cemetery!! I enjoy old cemetery's and THIS....is OLD for sure. And beautiful. But Hurricane Katrina really did a number on some of the above ground graves. They were still standing but the door's had broken off and the grave was empty :( Took a moment to reflect!! Felt bad knowing families lost so many already deceased... More

I enjoyed looking at the many old dates on the stones, and there were many. It was very easy to find and if one likes to glimpse the past this was worth it.
