About
I am a lifelong sailor and U.S. Coast Guard licensed captain. I have an excursion license with the city of Biloxi to offer sailing charters, Sunset cruises, and other sailing opportunities to visitors to Biloxi aboard a classic Bermuda 40 Hinckley. The boat is moored steps away from the Hard Rock Casino and Beau Rivage. This is the only private sailing service for 6 passengers offered in Biloxi.

Had an amazing solo trip with Captain Jay and first mate. Saw so many dolphins, which was awesome and very unexpected. I recommend this trip for anyone looking to just enjoy spending time on the water.

If you’re looking for some time away from the business of life to relax and breathe fresh air, then you’ll find it with Adventure-Charters Biloxi. Captains/1st Mates, Patti & Jay Golden (the roles are interchangeable) will let you put up your feet and enjoy the gentle breezes of the Mississippi Sound for a couple of hours while sailing on their beautiful sailboat, the Gypsy Lady. They’re real sailors—their favorite part of the trip is turning off the motor once in the channel—so you’ll even learn some sailing basics in a most casual setting. At the same time, you’ll be treated to tasty refreshments and pleasant conversation, You’ll feel like the Goldens are old friends, and also reluctant to leave the boat at journey’s end. A reduction in stress is guaranteed. One suggestion: bring a watermelon. It just may result in bonus time on the water or happy hour at the dock.

Spent the day learning to sail with Adventure Charters. Jay is an amazing captain and extremely knowledgeable, professional and hospitable! The boat is in pristine condition and very comfortable to be on. We saw a bunch of dolphins that came right up to the boat. Watching sunset from the water is a real treat. Would highly recommend spending the day on the water with Jay and will definitely be back! Great outing for group of friends or family, highly recommend!

We had a great time sailing down the Biloxi Beach. We left from the Small
Craft harbor near McElroys and we sailed along the beach front south of the Casinos. My wife can’t wait to go again!
