We’ve taken many out of town guest to the Visitor’s Center, then on a walk out on the Pier. It’s really pretty and gives a good advantage point to see the coast! It deally is nice.

The beach has lots of history. Make sure to take the time to read all the boards they have set up along the beach. We didn't stay long simply beacause of being on a bucket list to see all of the Gulf Coast beaches. The lighthouse was closed by the time we arrived to this stretch of Mississippi, but still good photo opps.…

Just across from the little lighthouse, the pier is well made and sturdy and juts out a good ways into the gulf.

My husband I had to take a quick trip from our home in SC to Houston TX in order to get a copy of his birth certificate. Bad weather and wrecks plaqued our entire trip which left me with almost no time for sightseeing. But my hubby agreed to stop in Biloxi so I could photograph the lighthouse. While here I had to take a stoll on the beach. We were here late October. The weather had turned cold. The sky was gray and dreary. And the waters were choppy. OK, maybe not an idea day from a stroll on the beach. None the less..still a day to enjoy a quick stroll on the beach. I can imagine in the summer this place is alive with beach chairs, umbrellas, and possibly food trucks. This time of year it is almost empty. I enjoyed strolling down the pier and hearing the choppy waters splashing against the wood. There would be no fishermen trying for a big catch. But plenty of seagulls hanging out. Nice views here. Turn around for a great picture of the lighthouse here and the casinos. I spent about 30 minutes just strolling around this area and was enjoying having the beach almost to myself. There is parking here and it is free. Restrooms and snacks can be found across the road at the visitors center. The Biloxi Lighthouse stands guard at the entrance (I have seperate reviwes on each of those). It is easy to get off and back on the highway. And even on a cold damp day..it is worth the visit.…
