We were driven off the beach by the stifling hot weather but found an oasis at this museum. The Geary building is really an assemblage of multiple pavilions, looking like ufo’s have landed amidst the live oak trees and old houses. Not all of the...More

My husband and I visited yesterday. Only one building of the Ohr museum was open. In the one building that was open, only two exhibits had identifying signage, everything else had numbers, but no descriptions. We were disappointed.

They had a Blue Dog exhibit that was worth the price ($8 each) of admission. To think that the artist did so many works while dying was amazing. Everyone at the museum was also VERY nice!!

With a name like “O’Keefe” in the title of this museum, one would think they were going to see her work. Not so, but don’t get disappointed. The exhibits range from The Blue Dog works, pottery from George Ohr, aka The Mad Potter, a rare...More

There was a jazz jam on Sunday at the museum that was off-the-chain! The band members were true professionals! There were five of us from different states and we enjoyed every minute and do plan to visit again.
