We invite you to enjoy all that makes our museum unique: the artists, the architecture, the history, and the landscape. The Ohr-O'Keefe Museum of Art celebrates the innovative, independent and creative spirit of our namesake Mississippi master potter George Ohr. In a fitting tribute to Ohr, artist and architect Frank Gehry designed an award winning campus of bold intriguing self sufficient structures. The campus consists of our Mississippi Sound Welcome Center, three art galleries, the reconstructed home of Pleasant Reed, and our City of Biloxi Center for Ceramics. These buildings and the exhibits therein offer visitors separate but not isolated experiences - together creating a single unified vision connected by the expansive brick plaza and the majestic Live Oaks.

When I went, two of the four pods were open, but what I did see was worth it. We had a very nice time, seen many different pieces of art and it was a fun time. They do get a student discount, so if you are in college and need to go to an art gallery for an assignment it... More

We paid full price for maybe 30 minutes of viewing. One of 4 pods was open. Much of the museum was being renovated. This was a huge waste of money.

My wife and I visited on a week day and pretty much had the place to ourselves. The exhibit explained about the "Mad Potter of Biloxi" excellently. There are other rotating exhibits and should be on a list of things to do in Biloxi.

Full charge and most of the museum was closed due to fire. Very, very, very, very disappointed. Don't really know what else to say.

On the day we visited the Museum, there were more empty buildings than buildings being utilized. The largest center building looked to be under renovation for quit sometime. The art exibits that were open were very good, just a little disaoppointed in quantity.

There was a fire, so there is no access to the main building (which was disclosed after we paid for admission.) The Ohr pottery exhibit is cool - interesting to look at. I would have liked more on him, his life and his pottery. The other art exhibits were not worthwhile to me and my friend. Some purported to be... More

Over half the 'pods' were not in use. Visitors center closed and relocated into tiny, cramped and crowded Pleasant Read duplicate. Really wish there was more written material on Ohr pottery exhibit. Video was difficult to hear, accents challenging, no place to sit and watch long video, which was ONLY explanation of pottery by George Ohr. No background on O'Keefe... More

The main building had a fire, so fewer exhibits. But Ohr's pottery is amazing! Well worth a visit. I'll be back. The current changing exhibition is about baseball with connections to the Gulf Coast.

Beautiful building designed by Frank Gehry. Nice baseball collection and nice pottery collection. It has a pottery workspace that is interesting. The building is the star. Worth stopping and seeing.
