It was a quiet Friday and the security guard happily let us in (after thoroughly searching my purse). He also gave us information about the water disaster.(sprinkler system) that almost led to razing the building. The outside facade is beautiful.

To see it from outside is amazing-and to go inside is even more amazing-the structure and upkeep is very nicely preserved. Glad my tax dollars show this beauty off :-)

...and look upward. It's beautiful, and just 2 blocks from the Winona County Historical Society Museum that puts the building in its historical perspective with the rest of the archtectural marvels of this rivertown.

The architecture of the building is neat to see and ponder over. It is impressive in its own rights but otherwise, just another building.
