I brought my son who is 5 here to explore outside. We were here two hours and could have stayed longer except he was hungry. He loves the water and dirt. He loved building with the sticks and stacking them up. I recommend this for...More

This is a great place to go hiking. We go multiple times a year. I have never been involved with the nature center there so can't speak to that place. But the trails are very nice to walk.

I was impressed with the various areas of the park -- from natural prairie to beautiful flowers to creative play areas for children.

Free center-wonderful area outside to play in a sandy stream made by water flowing downhill. Great area for kids to move and build with sticks. Hiking trails, floating dock, turkeys, deer and lots of vegetation.

A well-kept set of trails - both asphalt and "off trail" (which are the cross country ski trails in the winter). Fun nature center building, and child's play area - including a lovely garden (veggies and flowers) - in full bloom this harvest season.

Tamarack park is a huge reserve. There's tails and a visitor center, so lots to do. You won't regret a visit.
