Founded in 2010, Wai Nani Surf & Paddle is a water-sports & trails equipment rental provider featuring Paddleboard, Kayaks, ebikes, bikes and efolils. We operate two locations on the public beaches of Wayzata and Excelsior Commons on Lake Minnetonka. We offer Paddleboard, Kayak bike, eBike Rentals, Lessons, SUP Fitness & SUP Yoga, efoil instruction + new and used Board sales. Serving paddle & pedal enthusiasts in Minneapolis/St. Paul, Lake Minnetonka, Excelsior, Wayzata, Orono and Long Lake. This was a fun day for our family of 4: our 2 twenty-somethings were ready to move and be physical - so this good choice. We were hesitant, not sure if the kids would enjoy it, but we went for it and were not disappointed. There is a little park there for kids and a great view of the lake. The feel of Lake Street Wayzata was special.

We had a great time on SUPs at relatively quiet Long Lake. Wai-Nani staff was helpful and everything went very smoothly.

I decided to come up to visit my buddy who has a house on lake Minnetonka and he suggested going to Wai Nani. It was extremely fun and a breath of fresh air given the Covid circumstances. The paddle shack was very organized and had the most energetic staff. I will definitely be coming back again.

Had a great time at the SUP Beginner Clinic on Lake Minnetonka with Walker. Everything was top notch! The equipment is brand new (they replace the boards each season). Walker did a great job explaining the basics and getting us out on the water. He provided great tips and stayed out with us a bit longer because it was a bit choppy that morning. The location is perfect: easy to get to Wayzata Beach, lots of parking available, and a nice place to get a quick bite to eat at the park. They were also able to store and lock up keys/phones while we were on the water. Highly recommend!
