Peaceful garden below the rocks. One of the oldest orthodox churches in Romania (14th century) is hidden here. If you like hiking, combine with nearby Ramet gorge as a full day programme.

Set among the beautiful mountain scenery, this is a quiet peaceful place. There are two churches, the old and the new. Architecture is nice, the old mural paintings even better.

A must see place, just like heaven! So peaceful, so clam, so so. Very easy to get there from Alba Iulia, around 40 minutes by car. The two churches are impressive, there is also a museum with old traditional clothes, house objects. The paintings of the walls of the two churches are extraordinary, representative for the after life. There is a wonderful garden with flowers and trees, a place where you can listen to your inner thoughts.
