Average buffet food

I've enjoyed better tasting food at casino buffets. This one didn't have as many choices as others do.

I was there for just a one night stay at the adjacent hotel. First, I am not a gambler, but appreciate a well-kept facility which is not overly noisy with machines and patrons as well as a facility which tries to get as close to smoke free as possible. Northern Lights does well in both categories. A nice mid-sized, updated... More

This is our second attempt at eating here and I still can not understand why they serve such crap food. It is not hard to make inexpensive good food. Soggy fried fish and burnt bread pudding is not worth the money.

Went to see Jeff Foxworthy as he was appearing there this past weekend. The show was good - it was outside under a large tent that holds a 1,000 people or so. The tent was sooooooo smokey that we had to leave. They had the casino doors propped open, so all of the smoke was filtering out right into the... More

We stopped here to see what they were offering on Senior Day since we are 'over 50'. We each got $5 in free play so we played that plus our own money but did walk out with a few extra bucks. It's a smaller casino so it's easy to walk around & find each other if you play in different... More

Pleasant people work here. Smaller establishment, lunch buffet was quite spendy for what was offered. Meats were tough, real potatoes, good dessert.

We stayed here on a trip looking for a place to stay on the lake later this summer. Not a huge casino, but very clean and friendly staff. Rooms were nice, easy to get to and food was good. Where can you get a New York strip steak and eggs for $10. It was done to perfection and enjoyed by... More

Stopped by on the way home as a stop for stretching. This is a smaller casino, but it has a nice variety of games. We ate at the snack bar, but I was grossed out by something I saw there. The counter woman went into the kitchen. I could see her through the passthrough window. she was making something, and... More

This is an active, fun and great place to spend an evening on the games and slots. There is an attached hotel, which is affordable and comfortable plus there is several restraunts to choose from including a buffet of local delights (walleye, wildrice, etc). Bingo and live music are on scheduled ights.
