Had a lovely light lunch with various meats, cheeses and bread in a well-appointed room. Staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. Sampled their 2014 Rosso di Montolcino and 2011 Brunello. Bought a mixed case and two bottles of their best olive oil. One of the best tastings (all around) that we've had.

We really enjoyed our tour and tasting at Ciacco Piccolomin d'Aragona. The tour of the production facility and barrel room were really informative, and the private room where we did our tasting was great. We tasted an olive oil and 3-4 wines. It happened to be raining the day we were there, so we didn't get to spend much time... More

We had a wonderful experience here. The wine was outstanding, but isn't that the case with most Brunello producers? What set this experience apart was the kindness and welcomeness of the staff, even though we brought four children with us on our tour and tasting.

We were a group of 10 people, 6 adults and 4 kids. Our tour of the production facilities (aging cellar, bottling, shipping and farm) was great. Our guide was very well informed, answered questions, and helped the kids stay interested. We learned a lot about the production of Super Tuscan blends, Brunello and Rosso wines from the winery, and the... More

We were in Montalcino for 2 days in July can came here for a wine tasting and a tour based on tripadvisor recommendations. Outstanding winery with amazing views of the area. Besides the fact that the wines are spectacular, a visit to the winery and subsequent tasting are wonderfully guided by the friendly staffmembers. A must go when you are in the vincinity of montalcino.

Our group of 6 came for a wine tasting because we had purchased some 2010 Pianrosso pre-arrivals purely based on ratings received. We are so glad we came as this was our favorite winery of the 6 we visited. The staff was so friendly and willing to customize our tasting. The wines were all so delicious and well crafted. We...
