Gorgeous views, always too many people.

This park is great, but always way too many people. I would prefer to go to another of the parks up the road.

The falls are beautiful; sometimes it is good to go when it is chillier just because it isn't so crazy busy! Lovely place to adventure and take the whole family!

Go, go & go again. The water is forever changing, the trails for days never the same thing. I will be bringing more & more guests to see the sites! Any age, pet friendly, people out & about. Plan for the day at minimum. Enjoy the beauty

The best part of these falls is that you can get so close, walking right through the water in some places! We got some beautiful pictures and enjoyed our time relaxing next to the water. Breathtaking. The gift shop and visitor center are awesome!

We always stop to see the falls when in Duluth. They are beautiful in all four seasons and it is definitely a plus that it is free parking. We also enjoy the shop in the visitors center.

My boyfriend and I visited in mid July in the late afternoon early evening. The water was enjoyable on top of the falls carefully walking across the rocks. I am a photo junky and got MANY beautiful pictures of the water, rocks, flowers, and even some small animals wandering around the trail. Just like, if not better, from what I... More

This time we hiked the Fifth Falls Trail. Most people just go to the lower, middle and upper falls right near Highway 61. This trail follows the river back about 1.5 miles. It pretty well hugs the river on both sides. While it has many flat places there are also a couple of good rocky rises of 100 feet or... More

If you travel to the north shore this is a must see. I recommend going as early as possible after the snow melts to have the best experience.
