With CV19 the staff did a great job meeting all guests needs. The resort was clean and well take of. The rooms were great. Terrific effort by all. Had a great time fishing. Very nice marina and staff here also.
See you next year!

We enjoyed our time at this casino. It is clean and pretty open. The inside waterfall is very unique. If they have security they are all plain clothes --in the time we were there I don't recall seeing any uniformed security personnel. Although we felt safe it would be nice. Two floors with and escalator or elevator or stairs between floors. The machines are pretty tight but if you go on the right day they have free entertainment.

The Fortune Bay Casino is small casino attached to the Fortune Bay Resort in Tower, Minnesota. It is actually located about 10 miles west of Tower on the Lake Vermilion Indian Reservation (near the banks of Lake Vermillion). The casino has lots of slot machines, and has black jack tables, video poker machines and also has poker tables and a virtual roulette game. The casino is small compared to Atlantic City or Las Vegas casinos. The parking lot is huge and there is no cost to park there.

I gambled here with my wife on a Saturday evening in mid-October and had a good time in this small casino. I played some video poker and also played slot machines but did not feel like playing black jack. The table games were pretty crowded but there were lots of open slot machines. I was going to stay for several hours but left early after winning $250 bucks on a slot machine. The place was clean and the employees were pretty friendly.

Overall I enjoyed gambling at this small casino and recommend it if you are visiting this part of northern Minnesota. If you are looking for a fun night out you should give this place a try.

We booked almost 5 months in advance asking for 2 rooms with a golf course views, which we paid extra for. They said they would get 2 rooms near each other, but not connected. The rooms we got were on opposite ends of the hotel, neither facing the golf course. When I spoke with a supervisor she didn't care, saying "We do the best we can do". The restaurant is poor and you can't get breakfast there. You are better off staying somewhere else.

I have been coming here for years. This place was fun and a beautiful place to be. I spent 6 grand in four hours and never seen a winner over 50 bucks doing max bet. This place is a legal way of robbing you. Was waiting for 4 business owners and was basically told to get bent. Never going back. Nice place in summer. But the gm was horrible and not serious about us having tons of money to burn. These guys don't care about anything except taking your money. Zero payout. And i had 200 bonuses max betting. Never again. Legal robbery. Need new management. My 5 year old has better manors.

My husband & I went to Fortune Bay Casino. We have not been there since the middle of January. I asked at the promotion desk why I did not receive a booklet telling about promotions, entertainment etc, After she checked my players card, she said since I had not played my card since January, I do not qualify to receive the information anymore. It is part of their "new plan". Since I am not a huge gambler but we do go there during the summer & fall while at our cabin, I had always received the booklet. My "big perk" was $3 off at the deli. Under their "new plan", I do not qualify for that either! Really?? Are you kidding me??? We stayed for less than 1 1/2 hours, because the gambling was so pathetic. My husband also said the price of their drinks at the Northstar bar have increased-quality decreased. Obviously Fortune Bay Casino is really not interested in customer retention!

Double charged me, then said it was policy. Won't have my money back for 7 to 10 days. They charge 160 a night for a room with a view of the parking lot. Buffet is over priced. Only thing I like was the marina.

The Bay is a fun place to go, only 30 miles north of Virginia. Of course there is gambling, and they always have fun new machines. The food is excellent in both the grill and the buffet. They have a nice golf course, the resort is on a nice lake, AND my favorite part is the walking trails. My dad spends a lot of time up there and the employees treat him very kindly. Rooms have been remodeled and are quite cozy. Ask for one with a balcony!

Fortune Bay Resort Casino is in a very scenic location, about 20 minutes from the little town of Tower. It is off Vermillion Lake.

Parking is quite generous, including many places for handicapped parking. Security guards are posted as you enter. Most personnel
are polite. As with most casinos, complimentary coffee and soft drinks are available. Cocktail waitresses roam through the slots area and blackjack tables, happy to bring you your choice of adult beverages.

I am a very conservative gambler; I plan on losing no more than $10. I am happy when I can find true penny slot machines. Of course, everything is digital...no actual coins are dispensed :))))

Smoking is allowed; some casinos have non-smoking area. I could not find that area at Fortune Bay, but I did not ask either.

If you go, plan on eating at The Tamarack, decent buffet offerings.
