A friend and I stopped here while we were in the area. It is located at a house on a hill so you have to do a bit of walking from the parking lot. It was a live music day and it was fabulous sitting out on the patio with the music and a glass of wine. The wine was very good! We were disappointed that they had run out of wood fire pizza for the day but just an excuse to go back at some point :) Loved the atmosphere and it seemed like a place for all ages. Will be back!

We stopped here on a wine tour with a group of friends. We paired up and completed the tasting (good deal for two people). I was previously here in the winter and we stayed in the tasting room by the wood burning stove. During this recent visit, we snagged a table outside and enjoyed the fall day. Gorgeous setting between the changing leaves and the vineyard. There is the option to complete a self-guided tour through the vineyard as well. Service is friendly and prices reasonable. This is a family business - one is supporting local small business when spending time here!

Side note: There is often a special on purchasing wine. Typically there is an option to buy 2 get 1 free on specific wines. Be sure to ask!

This winery has a homey, rustic feel. The tasting room is set up like an old barn, in a good way, with a wood burning stove in the corner. Smaller tasting room, but can accommodate a good number of people. The staff (dad and son) were very friendly and knowledgable on all aspects of the wine. We found out during conversation that the winery is family owned and the grapes are some of the oldest in MN (31 years old!).

For the tasting, you receive small bags of crackers and cheese to cleanse your palate between wines. You taste all wines on the menu, no need to choose. The wines were delicious. They were not like many wines that I have had since all grapes are hand picked on the property or nearby. Try the ice wine if you get the opportunity. The prices are very reasonable considering the amount of work that goes into each bottle ($10-20). They even had a couple ciders on tap while we were there.

I am looking forward to a second visit during the summer or fall or to enjoy the outdoor setting. We toured St. Croix Chateau and Dancing Dragonfly wineries the same day - Wild Mountain Winery was my favorite.

We decided to stop by and try some wine. We stood in line and went to the next person helping. People kept coming up and having their next glass of wine for tasting and when they finished with one, they just ignored us and waited for the next person to come up for their next wine tasting. Finally a lady helped us, we got a glass of wine and left. Sad as we really wanted to taste test their wines but when service is that bad, we just didn't want to stay.

This is one of my favorite spots to go visit! Been there with friends and it was one of two wineries on my 40th birthday itinerary in September 2014. I had called to let them know a large group was coming, but they must not have gotten the message because they didn't seem too pleased to see us at first, however, after purchasing around 14-18 bottles of wine to enjoy on at the winery while listening to their live band I don't think they were too upset to have us after all! Love that the vineyard is so accessible to the tasting area. Love being able to taste outside and relax too. Saturdays in the summer live music is a huge plus--and being a birthday girl I got to sing with the band (sorry to those that had to listen, but everyone looked to be having a good time!) Love that they have expanded their tasting room and the ambiance is incredible--very rustic which totally fits with the surroundings!

I say surprise because this is Minnesota wine, but we found out this wine is excellent. They offered a wide variety of wines to taste, music, and wine stomping. Fun stop and great pouring hosts. We enjoyed Mountain Sweet Red and LaCrescent.

My girlfriends and I went on a little wine tasting mission around this area of Minnesota - when we arrived at the winery we were immediately greeted with happy smiles and felt very welcome. The place itself is very nice and nicely decorated. They have a pretty good selection of wines and also make hard apple cider -- that was really, really good - one of my friends bought a bottle - she got to cork it herself. The wines were very good and you get to keep the glass. If we are in that area again this is a definite "we'll be back" winery.

We had been to 3 other wineries and the wines at this one stood out as the best. The service was also one of the best. I was excited about the rustic location in Minnesota's beautiful woods. The tasting came with cheese and crackers, but there wasn't any other food for purchase.

We found out about this winery because we purchased a Groupon for the tasting with food pairing. It's a cute winery. Lots of tables & chairs outside(along with the traditional tasting rooms) and they bring the tasting to you. We had amazing friendly service from everyone we came in contact with.

The staff member that did our tastings was the owner's Granddaughter. She was great. We enjoyed lots of great wines and ended up loving the Frontenac Gris. Of course we had to take a few bottles home. We will definitely go back and have been telling our friends to check it out.

The tasting room is small but there is plenty of space outside. They bring your wine tastings out to you, quite promptly. It was 5 dollars which included 5 wine samplings, the glass, cheese and crackers. I found it very reasonably priced (even cheaper than most other wineries for what you get). We both really liked the wines, decided to purchase a glass and check out the grape vines. The owner was very nice, brought us some grapes to taste, very friendly. It was a very casual atmosphere, not pretentious, which is what I enjoyed the most. They have only been open 2 years and have accomplished great things, it will be exciting to see them grow.
