It was just gigantic. I've wanted to see this bridge in the original for a long time. There she stood before me: bizarrely filigree, romantic, mystical, imposing, enchanted, magical...
The whole park is beautifully landscaped, simple, natural, good for relaxing.
The parking lot is only once across the road, the path to the bridge is not far, the paths are easy to walk. Unfortunately, it was a bit cloudy with us, which did not detract from the beauty of the whole.

Our 5-hour driving round-trip to see this century old sleek stone bridge in suburban area in eastern Germany close to Poland, left us highly disappointed. While the bridge is nothing short of architectural work built in 1860s the landscape and water surrounding thee bridge has nothing but disappear due to the major ongoing repair work, which we cant find the information anywhere. Make sure you check whether the work is still going on otherwise don’t waste your time come here.

All descriptions I have seen fails to tell that the bridge has been under repair since 2017!!!
Drove more than 600 km just to see an emty lake and a bridge surrounded by scaffolding. Not even in the paid lot where you have to park in order to get to the place did they warn the visitors. Only a big sign with a picture of how it normally looks.

The Devil´s bridge in Kromlau belongs to the most photographed places in Germany and if you saw those amazing pictures and want to make one too you can be sure you will make it. It is really so photogenic. But it is just this one particular view. In reality the bridge is ugly and according to me the last reconstruction hurt it. I was so disappointed. Fortunately I found several other interesting points in the park.
Walking on the bridge is not allowed and even not possible. I think it was never meant to serve as a real bridge. It is a park decoration.

We wanted to visit this place for a long time and we finally managed to get here at the beginning of June 2019. A parking place was very easy to find in the parking lot nearby as the place was not crowded at all.
Unfortunately the famous bridge is still under maintenance and there are fences all around, the water was drained so we didn't had the chance to see the spectacular landscape as we expected.
Still, the park was very beautiful for a peaceful walk and we discover many other sculptures and a little nice castle :) Definitely we will come back to see also the spectacular Devil's Bridge.

Really beautiful and worth the visit, but contrary to the photo you arent allowed to walk over it. There are signs everywhere saying you cant etc...but definitely worth a visit and a walk around.

We drove about 1.5hrs out of Berlin to see this bridge. Very disappointing the water had dried out and the actual bridge was fenced off. Don’t visit.

There wasn’t nearly enough water under the bridge, so the reflection and symmetry were only partial, that too only from a specific viewing position.

This is definitely a hidden gem, had we not already seen this on social media we wouldn't have bothered to visit, it is a little out of the way and not very close to major cities, but on the boarder between Poland and Germany. However it was absolutely breath taking. Definitely worth a visit, and even the most amateur photographer can take an amazingly composed photo worthy of a professional. A beautiful sight!
