Very fun play area with great equipment. Our 2 year old just loves climbing the tunnels and sliding down. Also the pool area is great for small children with very shallow entry for them. Such a pleasant atmosphere throughout the center.

I attended a family wedding here and everything went very smoothly. During a pre-event meeting, the event coordinator from the Community Center was very professional and took the time to answer questions and review all the details of the upcoming
wedding. She gave personal attention to the bride/groom - I was impressed. The large event room was perfect for the occasion. From walking around the community center, we could see all the great family friendly activities offered, including a kids' playground food area, and waterpark.

We attended a birthday party. The locker rooms were filthy and smelled like old feet. They didn't wipe down the tables or chairs after the last group used the room.. and apparently the last people were chimpanzees.
As for the price - everything is ala cart. It is obvious they cater to the affluent.

I am a Shoreview resident and have been a member of the Community Center for the last year. A friend of my girlfriend and her 5 year old boy came with us to check out the pool. The new Bamboo Bay is a shallow pool and a water lovers delight. From water guns to large dumps of water from the overhead tank, there is no end to how you can get drenched. Needless to say the 5 year old loved it and this old man had a hard time keeping up. If you have small children, under 10, it is tough to be this as a place to wear them out.

Shoreview community center not only has a pool area but they also have an indoor playground area for kid's. We spent three hours there. That included a short break for lunch in the commons area where they have a variety of food items available for sale or you can bring your own food. I will definitely be bringing the kid's back there.

They have a inside water park, basket ball courts, work out area and more! They offer yearly memberships for individuals and families. Plenty of activities throughout the year for all ages!

Shoreview Community Center offers a wide range of amenities including a waterpark, kids play land, exercise room, classes and meeting areas. The community center is a for events from kids birthday parties to weddings and banquets.

The community center has came a long way over the years. My only complaint would be the pool area if you have toddlers great if not it sucks. No real lap swimming or diving and one hot tub. Having daughters that were competitive swimmers you see a lot of pools. The best I have seen is in maple grove. it is a join public private venture. So it had olympic size diving platforms, lanes and, a area for smaller children to play. In addition to serveral hot tubs that, also serve to keep swimmers warm in between heats. a coffee bar with table in the swimming area. Pool are in Shoreview has always been a premium

Although the maze is pretty cool, it's overpriced and it stinks! They need to take the time to disinfect and clean up the place! It smells like pee and poop in there. Could be avoided by cleaning it!
