We had such a wonderful time touring this site and reading about the history. We received a tour from Robert who was so friendly, knowledgeable and seemed to really care about the site and history. It was such an enjoyable visit. Highly recommended to all!

This is a great place for a wedding in a barn.... It's especially fun if you have youngsters with you. This farm has animals and gardens to enjoy. Gardeners were still working when the outdoor wedding was held.

This is a wonderful place to go as a family to help children learn about life in the 1800's. Tour guides do a great job educating. There is a school house, farm house and barn. Often there are family events. In the summer they hold...More

Came here in the fall with several young children who loved the active learning; making candles, sitting in one room school house chairs and using slates as children did decades ago, etc. etc. VERY much worth the visit. We recommend coming on a day where...More

I'll start by saying our tour guide was very knowledgeable. He had a lot of information to share and for those visiting Minnesota for the first time, it was very interesting to hear about early settlers in Minnesota. The tour guide also took into consideration...More

It was a nice family day. A place to bring the kids. A place that on the ride home was a common topic discussed during the ride. Had communication going on with the kids and that a plus anytime.

Gibbs Farm shows the life many of our ancestors went through when they first arrived in Minnesota. The farm is right in town and is very geared to children. A great place to bring the kids.
