Como is a beautiful lake to stroll, bike or ride around. The pavilion has restrooms, a bar/restaurant area, and is a nice place for wedding receptions. A walk around the lake is 1.6 miles. A real treat in St. Paul!

Full disclosure, I'm a Saint Paul native and I want you to know about Como Park. Leave the loveliness of downtown, and come up Lexington to Como Park. An evening walk around the lake is a joy most times of year. You'll see neighbors getting their exercise, dog walkers picking up after their pets, visitors riding rented family bike/wagons, kayaks... Stroll the path around the lake, have a bite to eat inside and linger on the cool veranda of the pavilion. Sometimes there are weddings held there, the setting is just that romantic. Also there are little paddle boats that can be rented if you want to go out on the lake.

The pavilion has bike and boat rentals along with ice cream and snacks. This is a pretty and accessible walk around the lake.

There is a nice restaurant in the Pavilion. Have a nice Dinner and then go for a walk around Como Lake. The path is all paved and the beauty of the area is wonderful to walk in.

Como Lakeside Pavillion is a great place in the summer - not so much in the winter. Music concerts of all kinds will be offered in the summer and 99% are free of cost. Food and ice cream is also available for a price. You can rent paddle bikes and rickshaws however, I think the cost is over the time.... More

We started and ended a recent hike around Como Lake here. There are great views of the pavilion as you walk around the lake. You can stop in the pavilion for something to drink or eat, or bring your own and sit at the picnic tables. Enjoy.

This building needs work inside and out to preserve it. The interior, especially the upstairs, smelled of mildew. I know that's tough to get rid of, but better start now. The outside of the building needs work so that repairs don't get overwhelmingly expensive. It's in a great location. I would like to see a complete renovation to save this... More
