Went to see a production of Theater Mu at Steppingstone Theatre, "The Princess' Nightingale." It was a solid production. This is a nice, restored vintage theater, where the auditorium is small enough that no seat is bad. The view from the upper balcony is also excellent.

Accessible: Yes (at least the main floor is)
Parking: Street Parking in surrounding neighborhood

My family and I attended "Aladdin Jr." at the Stepping Stone Theater recently. This was our first visit to the theater. My husband and I were beyond impressed with the stage production, special effects and diversity not only on stage, but in the audience as well. The young actors and actresses were fantastic! Our children (ages 1 and 6) also really enjoyed the production. We will definitely be attending future productions and will support Stepping Stone!

Stepping Stone does not listen to their customers! Box office totally messed up and ruined our Christmas tradition of over 13 years! I was the highest bidder at a silent auction on their tickets. I called the box office in advance to make reservations for our family tradition. i told them I was the highest bidder on their tickets- paid over the ticket price. they told me to look for an expiration date- I was very clear there was no expiration date and I needed 6 tickets. They told me to go back and look. I assured them there was no expiration date but if there was, I would pay for the 6 tickets and still wanted the reservation. They said they needed me to look again for an expiration date. I said please reserve 6 seats. I asked how many seat openings they had- I was told over 100. I called back 2 days later to confirm the reservation as I had not heard from them. When I called back I was told it was sold out and that they did NOT make my reservation even though I had told them to. And there truly was NOT an expiration date and even there was, I said I would pay again for the tickets. They did not make the reservations for us and left the 6 of us screwed with out our family tradition. To say we are upset is an understatement. I am beyond furious. they do NOT listen to their customers- we keep the lights on, donate the money and they don't listen. On principal, I can not longer support them.

2014 Our first time! What a great group of actors- especially my favorite Gladys! Such a nice building I don't know why I hadn't been sooner- the kids had been with their schools. I would strongly recommend this production to families- such a fun program. I jewel in the neighborhood.

We enjoyed the Irish dance show in March. Our children are 11, 8 and 5, and each found something to enjoy (boys AND girls). We had great seats - but the theater is small enough that really any seat is a good one. Prices were reasonable for theater aimed at children - although the adults really enjoyed the show too! We loved the Q&A session with the actors at the end. We are hoping to attend more performances in the future!

Keeping in mind that this is a community theater, I thought the play was very well done. It's a wonderful program, and I'm happy to support it.

This was our first trip to the Stepping Stone Threatre. It's a beautiful old building, not a bad seat in the house. The performance was outstanding - well acted, strong presence. Performance is one hour long - perfect length for elementary schoolchildren. Loved the Q&A session afterwards.
