I get to Grand Avenue about once a year, and always enjoy the visits. Biggest issue is parking, which is very limited on the street, although there is a pay ramp on the corner I frequent. Pricy shopping and eating, but then, I am used to the bargains and free parking in the suburbs.

Whenever I'm in St. Paul I enjoy walking the streets of Grand Avenue. They have amazing local shops and some of the best restaurants. Some of the stores that I enjoy the most are Penzeys Spices, Golden Fig and Bibelots. After your done shopping, a stop at Cafe Latte is a must. Their food is so fresh and delicious save... More

Grand old days is something to see if you can make it early June. Bands and food, people watching, always great. A great variety of stores here. Unique one of a kind stores and main stream as well. A favorite place of mine.

I went to the Grand Old Days on Grand Avenue in June. Lots to do for people of all ages. They had rides for the kids and food for everyone. Many vendors with sales going and an opportunity to really see their wares. Grand Avenue is a great place to just drive up and down to see what's happening. They... More

My daughter just moved to this neighborhood. Our first visit to her was success. Fun to walk and drive around. Nice places to shop and eat.

This review focuses on the east end of Grand but there is much much more as you go West too! Grand Ave is a great area for hanging out for a day, walking your dog, shopping, and most of all, eating. Great restaurants include Everest on Grand (Napali/Indian), Barbary Fig, Café Latté, Bread and Chocolate, Braza, Dixies, La Cucaracha, Tavern... More

Stroll up and down the avenue and poke around in the myriad of interesting shops. Don't miss The Three Sisters Gallery and gift shop for just the right gift just east of Victoria and Grand on the south side of the street in an old apartment building. Have lunch ant any one of the fabulous restaurants in the area. Then... More
