For a free(ish) zoo, this place is great. Good place to go as a family with kids. Look for the shows and try to time to make them. Would definitely go again.

The spring flowers and the wonderful smells are alive and well at the Conservatory this winter. There are some lovely flowers and ferns to enjoy while you walk thru the buildings. This is a perfect winter break for every one!

We will be visiting from out of town and staying at a Mall of America area hotel. We will not have a car. Is there a shuttle or public transportation available to get to the zoo?

No direct shuttle, public transportation isn't too bad or Uber, cab, etc.

Yes, they have wheelchairs available. The aisles are wide enough to easily accommodate one.
