Super fun!

The whole experience was super fun and it's amazing. It's great how it's free as well. I can easily bus over there with my little brother.

Unlike all other zoos and parks in the U.S., visitors can go to the park and zoo free of charge, including free parking. You can see lions, tigers, wolves, bison, giraffes, monkeys, fishes, and animal shows free! Like theme parks, you have to pay for rides, and the water park. For people who like flowers, you can see the Japanese... More

Loved the conservitory, we purchased the Como Town family membership, it's the best thing for us, as we take our grandkids every week-end, during the summer months we go as often as possible, read a good book, while keeping am eye on the kids, enjoyment for all each time we go and we go vertical often we just love it... I absolutely love everything about Como. Some of the cages for animals offend me to the max - but I think they are working on that. I've had the advantage of visiting the San Diego Zoo - and though it was a long time ago - they set my standards of how to house animals very high. I was once... More

Once again, the the flower display in the Sunken Garden in the conservatory is beautiful. Red and gold/orange poinsettias fill the room. Nice, warm place to spend a couple of hours on a cold Minnesota afternoon.

I have never experienced a zoo like this one. Sure it's free, but to what cost? The space for the animals are not adjusted their individual needs and way, way, way to limited. Made me sick just looking at the poor animals being berated by children as well as adults.

My family and I visit the Conservatory every winter. It's so warm and green and lush and sweet-smelling. We love it. It's just a great way to while away some time with family--tropical plants, fish, statues, fountains--all inside an historic greenhouse. Suitable for all ages. And it's nearly free--just a small donation is all they ask. And then there's an... More

Going into the Conservatory on really cold (and dry) days is a treat. The floral exhibits are colorful, joyful, and spectacular and the high humidity in some of the areas is especially nice when it's so dry outside. During Minnesota winters, one needs to find "hope" to get to Spring, and the Como Park Conservatory is one of those places... More

The inside cages are small and smell, the inside walk area is very small. Needs renovation. However the outside area is large. You can walk slow around the whole zoo in about two hours. The perfect outside activity. A huge verity of unique animals. The signs are very educational. A good school or home school trip. The rides are close... More
