We have gone to the Civic Center for a basketball game and no to a concert---just great great great!--no seat is a bad seat---you can see the stage from all over---love Rochester and it's walkability!

Good facility for conventions, but really big. AV is good. Rooms are modern. Staff regularly refresh coffee breaks. Good acoustics for public speaking.

The Civic Center remodel is a success. Looks like a top notch venue now. We went to a concert there recently, and there was no bad seat. Nice and close.

Staying in Rochester for three nights while attending a conference at the Mayo Civic Center. Narrowed accommodations down to these three hotels, Centerstone, Brentwood and Springhill. Looking for clean and easy downtown access. Reviews are so mixed on hotels in Rochester unless you go very high end.

There a many great options in Rochester. Of the 3 that you mentioned, I would choose the Springhill. The Springhill is the furthest from the Civic Center. The closest one to the Civic Center is Brentwood. Centerstone has a fun restaurant called Twigs.
