What an amazing park within the city! Have driven through town numerous times before & never stopped. Surreal for being so close to the highway. Falls were pretty. Dammed area of river was very impressive. Nice layout of paved walking trails to get some exercise. Beware of a few short but very steep areas. Trails nicely marked along the way.

Ramsey Park is a well kept place to hike, picnic, camp, bike, rollerblade or run. The trails are always in good condition and it is very scenic and peaceful. If you are looking for a serene spot to have lunch or picnic, this is the spot! There are two different parks, a ball field, camping spots, bathrooms and a shelter... More

The falls had a fair amount of water going over the crest. We could see improvements in the zoo and park amenities. The campground had a lot of campers. The trails through the park are asphalt paved with just enough hills to be challenging. Shade makes it comfortable even on a hot day. You can walk to the falls from... More

The trails were great which gave good views of the river and waterfalls, and the zoo was a little small but the animals are friendly.

This is a jewel small campsites offers more clean camp areas. It has several children areas with swings and other play equipment. The hiking trails are well marked so no getting lost or turned around. The Waterfall is lovely small when compared with others but with a power unsurpassed. You can hike to it or drive up to it. The... More

My husband and I stopped with some friends a few weekends ago when we were visiting Redwood Falls. This park is beautiful. I would definitely go back to spend a more extended time. The falls are incredible and the scenery in general is breathtaking. It would be a great spot to get married. There is also a little animal area... More

Traveled up here for a quick weekend getaway and was NOT disappointed! You can drive most of the park if needed, getting out as desired but why do that when you can hike/walk/bike (I think this is allowed, I was the ONLY person there so no one objected). The park is FREE and has a great variety of trails (most... More

Animals & scenery were great to see - the Waterfall was frozen, but still an awesome sight. The animals were out, they were fun to watch.

Enjoyed a three mile hike on beautiful trails overlooking bluffs, creeks and rivers. This place is a gem with many picnic shelters and playgrounds, gorgeous scenery and a small zoo that is perfect for those with small children. So glad we visited!
