In two weeks the iconic Red Wing pottery store will be closing. There are still many wonderful pottery items to purchase (eg. Crock pots, mugs, vases, plates, bowls) and many items are collectibles or one if a kind. Staff is very friendly and the quality is exceptional. Very sad to see the shop and craftsmanship close. Thanks for the memories!…

Just a few minutes outside of Red Wing. We stopped by to check it out. Super nice staff. It was kind of nice to be able to peek into the factory area where the pottery is being made through a glass wall. The pottery is not inexpensive but very well made. Definitely worth a stop!

There is also a seconds room to browse. I noticed a lot of smeared logos or cracks on many items. I'm not sure who'd want to buy those, but people must. Prices are expensive, but it's Red Wing pottery. It isn't cheap anywhere, lol. The lady who helped us was knowledgeable and wrapped up our canister lids well so we could get them home on an airplane.…
