We visited many of the stores in the building. The boutiques have some nice things to choose. The antique has row after row of all kinds of things - all displayed neatly. Was fun to meander and look. Hot outside but nice and cool in the large building. All the salespeople we met were very friendly, Many benches to stop and rest between shops. We had a fun time.

In two weeks the iconic Red Wing pottery store will be closing. There are still many wonderful pottery items to purchase (eg. Crock pots, mugs, vases, plates, bowls) and many items are collectibles or one if a kind. Staff is very friendly and the quality is exceptional. Very sad to see the shop and craftsmanship close. Thanks for the memories!

We weren't sure about visiting this museum but we were so glad we did. It was the highlight of our trip. It was so informative and we learnt so much about the transformation of Red Wing pottery and pottery itself. It's a great shame it's not being made today. I like the idea that they used different commentators. Well done Red Wing.

Just a few minutes outside of Red Wing. We stopped by to check it out. Super nice staff. It was kind of nice to be able to peek into the factory area where the pottery is being made through a glass wall. The pottery is not inexpensive but very well made. Definitely worth a stop!

The store has moved to out of town. It sits down, off the road, so look for signs for the store. The store itself isn't all that big, but it has a lot of pottery to chose from. There is also a seconds room to browse. I noticed a lot of smeared logos or cracks on many items. I'm not sure who'd want to buy those, but people must. Prices are expensive, but it's Red Wing pottery. It isn't cheap anywhere, lol. The lady who helped us was knowledgeable and wrapped up our canister lids well so we could get them home on an airplane.
