Just a few minutes outside of Red Wing. We stopped by to check it out. Super nice staff. It was kind of nice to be able to peek into the factory area where the pottery is being made through a glass wall. The pottery is...More

The store has moved to out of town. It sits down, off the road, so look for signs for the store. The store itself isn't all that big, but it has a lot of pottery to chose from. There is also a seconds room to...More

Stopped at the Red Wing Pottery Oulet store north of Red Wing while exploring the Great River Scenic Route. Some amazing pieces for half the price with some minor flaws. We picked up a couple of beautiful pottery that we'll use for entertaining. Though we...More

This location is no longer open despite the giant signs. The small, faded, difficult to read sign says there is a different location (Red Wing Stoneware), but it was another 10 min out of town in the opposite direction of where we were headed. We...More

We enjoyed the Red Wing Pottery museum. I did not realize all of the plates, crocks and housewares Red Wing made. Would of enjoyed a tour but we did ok by ourselves, no pressure no crowds and a neat gift shop.

They only give tours at 1:00 PM so plan your trip so you can tour the shop. I liked meeting the artisans. Just to watch a pot on the wheel or the decorations being painted. A must see

Beautiful little store with plenty of choices, both firsts and seconds available. Prices are reasonable considering the collectable value of Red Wing pottery. Windowed area to watch the potters working. Items nicely displayed and staff helpful but not hovering.

They have taken the original pottery factory and created spaces for shops. There is usually someone throwing pottery to show how it was in the older days!Lots of shopping choices.

There is one gift shop but quite extensive and very impressive knowing that everything is hand made.
