    Urban oasis

    Beautiful park setting in metro area

    Went to take family fall pictures. Several other families too but several great locations within the park for great back drop.

    What a park should be

    Lake, beach, huge jungle gym, rolling hills and ones for sliding, large nature paths, picnic tables, scenic views. Lights for night time skiing. Clean bathroom area, bike path....its what a park should be.

    Great children’s park

    HUGE park for the kids to rope climb, swing, slide and play on park equipment. Also great walking trails !

    New park alert I found out about it’s week have been twice and luv it very clean not to crowded and the a good walk I will be back and plan to take my grand to the water park when it’s complete

    Beautiful and Family Friendly

    Lots of trails, lots of play equipment, lots of eating areas, many areas for large groups and beautiful water and landscape. We have lived near French Regional Park area since before it was a Park and feel so Blessed to have it so close!

    Yes for dog walks. There are plenty of trails to walk. I'm not sure of the beach like area there. I've seen people strolling with dogs and its litter bags near the bridge which leads to the beach area. Please check out... More

    No. The park and parking (with shuttle service to beach) is free. You do pay for any rental water activities like canoeing, paddleboating, kayaking, etc... But it is fairly inexpensive. They also have a small concession... More
