Nice play area but adults not wearing masks in the play area and staff do nothing. Pity because this is now my second and last time as it was the case on both occasions

Not bad.

The fun area is well equipped, modern and safe. Toilets were great too. Place is clean and appears to be adhering to the government guidelines. I would say that the hospitality side of things, particularly the demeanour of cafe staff could be improved, I appreciate that the service industry is difficult to work in- particularly in a fast paced environment but I found that the poor service was off putting. Pity because this place has great potential 😕

Spotlessly clean and great fun

My daughter loves this place. Okay from a parent point of view the boat that sings jingle bells in July is VERY annoying but if you are 3 it’s amazing!!

Lots of slides and activities for the kids to get stuck into. The play frame is very big so for smaller more adventurous kids like mine you’ll have to go in with them as you can’t always see them from the table.

It’s spotlessly clean, lots of loos, plenty of tables. My daughter has a dairy allergy and they accommodated that well.

Overall a great family run business that will tire the little ones out. A great rainy day activity!

Hi Rachael132 Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. I was most disappointed to see that you weren't happy with your visit. You are a regular customer of ours, visiting weekly, and have never raised any issue with us in person. I'm at a bit of a loss as to why you think the staff are rude, cheeky and unhelpful. At the minute as you know we are operating under very strict covid conditions including no cafe at all. Staff interaction is then purely to explain the rules re masks, hand sanitising, social distancing, checking those booked in and ensuring we have track and trace details for each group. This can be quite laborious and we can encounter unpleasant reactions and frustrations. But these are all necessary for us to remain safe and most importantly open. We only open at 3.30pm for our afternoon session, so yes prior to this the staff will be taking a break at the side of the building having sanitised everything after the lunchtime session. Whilst the session is for 2 hours, booked play sessions are 90 minutes. We did this as we know that the booking in procedure is now quite lengthy and we want to make sure everyone gets their full session. Everyone in the session will arrive at 3.30pm so there will be queueing i'm afraid. I'm glad you continue to visit and enjoy the play area. If you feel anything isn't correct or you are unhappy with your visit please let us know at the time. We can certainly do our best to rectify it or explain the circumstances.

Discussing. I haven’t seen such a dirty play area. Many tables are covered in half eaten food & drinks. I have been here an hour and not one table has been cleared or cleaned since I arrived.

Hi Nannyvarden, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We pride ourselves on maintaining a clean centre so I was most disappointed to read that you felt it was dirty. You visited on a very busy half term week. The play area was certainly not dirty but some tables will of course have been left by customers and need cleared. We don't clear tables until the end of each play session. We have been caught out clearing a table that a family were not finished with as they were off playing. All tables are cleared, wiped and sanitised thoroughly before the next lot of guests. I hope your family had fun on our frames and if you revisit and there is something you are not happy with please speak to the manager on duty as they can certainly rectify it for you or perhaps explain the situation.

Poor for family of all ages
Feb 2020 • Family
This place is awful if you have a 13year old, toddler and newborn. Dreadful experience to just get out of house and have fun with my children-which you will know is hard to do. 13year old is not seen as 'capable' to look after my 2year old in soft play area. Despite being the most caring and level headed 13yr old I know. Therefore I pretty much payed a fortune to sit on a sofa (it was comfy at least) watch my newborn who slept and try to tell my toddler he can't go play as mummy can't supervise him as I have to stay with baby who I was not wakening - despite sitting right next to soft play area this is not enough supervision. What a waste of a journey. It is so not family friendly if you have difference in ages. I will not be back here again anytime soon. Also a staff member was so cheeky to my eldest daughter which was not called for. They need to update their insurance policy-what are single parents with such big age gap between children meant to do to get out and give their children some fun time. This was just an awful experience especially getting out with a newborn. I have never experienced this in any other soft play.

Great place
Feb 2020 • Family
Had a great time here with my 3 year old daughter, she started off in the small frame for 3 years and under and enjoyed the boat and the merry go round but after a while got bored and was old enough to go into the main frame, as she was old enough to enter the main frame but still just a toddler I went in with her and found it was very spacious for adults compared to some of the soft play areas we've been to, the only thing was that adults are strictly not permitted to go down the slide so I was having to bring her up the frame to the top of the slide and then run quickly back down the frame to meet her at the bottom, apart from this we had a great time, the sensory room was a great idea too as she loved all the lights. I found the cafe to be a bit expensive but kfc is 2 minutes down the road so we just went there after.

We visited funtastic with our two children. It was very good, a little busy but there were a lot of staff on hand and watching the play areas. The food was good and overall value for money is excellent. A good place for a few hours out with the children!

Fantastic funtastic - great place for all
Dec 2019 • Family
We had our sons birthday party at funtastic yesterday and we all had just the most amazing time. The experience from beginning to end was excellent. We had children from 1 - 10 and all ages were catered for. The food, staff and equipment were all outstanding. The entire place was bright cheery and so clean definitely a thumbs up from us. Our son is already planning his next visit. We will be recommending funtastic to all our/his friends. Thank you funtastic.
