We have been going to Rice Lake State Park for years as we live in Owatonna. Personally I like it best in the fall when the leaves are magnificent. I wish more people would take the time to see what it has to offer. We...More

We camped in our RV for one night and was surprised at how many trails are available to walk, with most leading down to various access points on the lake. The lake is known for bird migration, which was evident by the number of migrating...More

We did about a two and a half mile hike. It is very pretty and mostly flat and smooth. It was a bit muddy in places after the spring rains. The frogs were very numerous as were the water fowl.
