We spent the weekend in Spot #32 just a short walk to the shower and rest room. There was plenty of space and foliage between sites. How I managed to get a site with electricity on the Thursday before was a mystery. The MN State...More

What a great name for a hiking trail that consist of a lot of walking on a boardwalk to preserve the sensitive plant life. Very interesting how the mossy plant life seemed to mound up around the base of the trees. I was there on...More

We decided to stop at Kathio State Park for a short hike on our way to Breezy Point. Minnesota has so much to offer to those who love the outdoors, but this park wasn't as impressive as others in the area. We chose a trail...More

We spent an afternoon at the park. The fire tower is a highlight but the climb to the top is challenging. Historical sites and walking trails are excellent. The fall colors were beautiful - oaks, maples and aspen. We plan on going back again!
