Nice way to spend a couple of hours
The sculptures were cool to look at and the putt putt was challenging with the sculptures in the middle of play. This is a busy place that is for sure and some had large groups of 6 or more. there was also a lot flies. This could be due to the goats that you can feed, but if you are waiting for someone you are swatting a way. Did have a rest room to use, and the prices were fair. WARNING they take cash or check only, so no plastic. And money goes to their arts program to boot.

Mini golf with goats and art.
14 holes of mini golf with fun sculptures at every hole. Large sculpture garden with a wide variety of interesting pieces, many quite large. Goats, chickens and ducks add to the fun. A sculptor was working on site making a giant frog from old tires. He welcomed us and explained his work. What a fun way to spend an hour or two. $12 per adult.

    Fantastic place always something new
Still quirky artistic place. We have pictures every year with three grandson on the LOVE sculpture in the front entrance. GGolf course is like no other. Every year we see new sculpures and things to do envolving all kinks of materials.

Unique, fun mini golf course with LOTS of wonderful sculptures to enjoy! Afterward, you can walk around the expansive property and view the creative sculptures. Some are interactive (ping-pong, cornhole), some are downright adorable (rubber dog) and others are fascinating (kinetic sculptures). Live animals (goats, chickens, mini-horse) to enjoy. This is a wonderful place for all ages! Highly recommend!

Good course. Some holes are hard! We all scored within a few strokes of par. It was fun! Certain holes are extremely troubled by fallen leaves…can the owners please do an AM and PM leaf blowing during the fall? The leaves clogged tubes that balls should roll through (we lost some balls), or interrupt balls rolling toward the score hole, or in a few cases where a ball should move through certain obstacles it was stopped by leaves, that was an annoying part of our game. You can pay in a box, and Monday 1pm in mid-October we didn’t see it staffed. We paid but we saw some others easing into playing without paying the box, just fyi.

The mini-golf was terrific fun with unique and challenging runs, and charming sculptures; but the sculpture park was truly amazing. So much to see! These are top quality, beautiful, interesting pieces. I loved them and I highly recommend this experience.

We came here last year, and it was busy, but it was fun. The goats are cute and extra sculptures are nice. We came back on a late Sat afternoon and saw that they require masks the whole time. It seems so overboard to require masks outside, when, once you start golfing, you shouldn't be within 6 feet of anyone outside your group. We decided not to stay due to that. Personal decision, I understand, but we choose more outdoor activities for a reason, and it's not to wear a mask all day.

This was a beautiful surprise outing! We went for my grandson's 6th birthday to this very whimsical and clever course! The grounds are expansive, and loaded with fun and interesting sculpture...and animals...and games...and activities! The course is only 14 holes, instead of 18, which was perfect because it allowed time to walk the rest of the beautiful property. I would allow an extra hour after golf - and wear comfy shoes! Have fun!

A wonderful, amazing, beautiful, special place. Unlike anywhere you've ever been. It almost seems like stepping into a fantasy movie set in some ethereal place where someone a beautiful outdoor sculpture garden, can also be a mini golf course. A gigantic, beautifully maintained outdoor gallery with work ranging from fun to social commentary. And, some livestock as well. This is the greatest mini golf course I've even been to, and doubt I'd ever be able to top this experience.

This could be a great course. The concept is wonderful. Sculptures are interesting. The holes are unique. But it is in such poor shape. The ground is uneven and greens don't look like they have been watered. And it was a strong sewer smell the entire time. I finished all holes in about 20 minutes because some of the greens were so incredibly bumpy that putting was not going to go well. Lower the price and it might be ok just for a fun place to go. But there is a lot of work that is needed to get it in decent condition.

If you like creativity combined with mini golf, this is the place for you. I could never have imagined a place like this.
First- the mini golf. Not your typical mini golf. The holes can be very challenging. They are created around small and large sculptures. The creativity in the mini golf is very unique. Once you get through the mini golf ( and it may take longer to linger over each hole and appreciate the use of sculptures), you can visit the goats and horses (we only saw one horse the day we went, but a number of baby goats) you can wander thru the sculpture garden area. The entire place is a work of art!
A bike trail runs in back of the parking lot. The 'sign' for Big Stone Mountain is easy to miss. Look for a large rock on the side of the road that directs you to the mini golf.
The day we went cost was $7 per person.

While visiting family near Mound Minnesota, we visited the Big Stone Mini-golf and Sculpture Garden, about 30 miles west of Minneapolis (just west of Mound on Hwy 110). We were delighted to visit what must be about the most unique mini-golf course one could visit. The course is a sculpture garden - a work of art by a local sculptor.

We went with the group ages 11 to 55 and really enjoyed it. Funky, delightful, it was a big surprise located in rural Minnetrista and a good family outting. You can also purchase snacks, local jams and produce. The raspberry-rhubarb jam was really good.
